Awesome (and Naughty) Clips of Jake Auditions

With much credit to NoahandNukefan, there are some awesome clips of Jake Silbermann auditioning for a movie (I presume) using some very naughty language, which I find really sexy. Of course with Jake, he’d be sexy reading the phone book, but listening to lines like “semen-swallowing, soul-crushing, demon-slut” is a rather different experience than watching him be all goody two shoes as in Noah the past few weeks.

Of course, now I want to see Luke and Noah (or, Hell, even Van and Jake) talk dirty to each other.

Project Holiday Spirit 2008: Please Help!!!

The awesome people over at vanhansis.net have started Project Holiday Spirit 2008, which is a charity project to make donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Last year, Nuke fans donated $6,000. The goal this year is $2,500, but here’s hoping we can top that amount.

I’d appreciate if anyone could make a donation, even if you’re not a fan of Nuke, since it is a very worthwhile cause. If you can, that would be very, very, very much appreciated. If you have a site or blog, I’d also appreciate if you could spread the word!

Even though I’m enjoying Van’s material lately, my poor shipper heart can’t really bear to see the boys apart and hurting so much.

Here’s some caps from the 10/22 Episode of “As the World Turns”. I enjoyed it. I dig the plot, even with Luke’s constant gay, gay, GAY dialogue. Casey’s back in Nuke’s orbit; they have decent screentime in an ep. And it looks like the storyline is actually going somewhere. I guess I shouldn’t really praise them for not sucking, but I feel like patting the writers on the head and thanking them for not embarassing themselves with everything.

Wow, what’s this? A good story with decent screentime with continuity and character interaction? Did Hell freeze over in Nuke-land? Plus, bonus points for giving us the cuddling on the bench scene on the astheworldturns.net site, after cutting it from the broadcast. I guess because we asked nicely.

I think it’s really interesting how the whole plotline is about censorship with the old, rich mucky mucks freaking out about seeing two guys in bed together? Meta much? How about ending this storyline with a nice long bed scene after Luke becomes president and the gay festival is saved?
